Legal Name Change

Legal Name Change can be done for an Adult, a Child, or  for a change in Gender.

The process for a legal change in California generally looks like this:

• File appropriate forms with the court clerk (we fill out the forms and file for you).
• Publish the Order to Show Cause for Change of Name (if required).  We take care of this.  In some situations the change of name can be kept confidential.
• You attend the court hearing and have the Judge sign the decree of legal name change.
